Meeting Notes

Well we had another great meeting last night. Nina from the Illinois State Museum was kind enough to come and talk to us about the museum. What a treat!!! She was very knowledgeable and patient with our questions!

She brought artifacts (replicas) for us to decipher, told us about all the different exhibits at the museum and told us of very well behaved visitors under 10, that was of course the MOST stunning part!! HA

2 of our ladies, Barb & Janet, both have volunteered at the museum and it sounds like a really fun place. They are always looking for help in the gift shop, or people to volunteer as greeters and they offer very flexible schedules. So if you have some free time and want to help out, please contact Nina.

I had no idea that our museum had so much to offer, I'm anxious to take my 7 year old nephew there to check out all the interactive exhibits!
